Role Model Interview
|
Consider a time in your life when you felt as though you had 'failed.' What made this such a negative reaction or setback? -
One time I remember where I felt I 'failed' was when I got a C on a history test. I had such a negative reaction because I worked hard on studying and completing the study guide for this particular unit.
How was the 'failure' shared with you? -
The 'failure' was shared with me through skyward. I heard that the scores were put in and I checked and saw that I got a bad score.
How did you then feel about the task that you failed? -
I felt like I could've done better at studying for the test, even though I already spent a good amount of time studying for the test.
How did you feel about yourself? -
I felt disappointed and annoyed at myself.
Now, consult the video or audio recording that you made. What is this person's attitude towards failure? -
He tries to improve from failure instead of lingering on it. Improving from failure is a major part of his job, and he has to be good at it.
Why do you think he or she feels this way? -
I think he feels this way because it's a major part of his job. It's also just a major part of his personality to try and improve from failure instead of lingering on it.
Do you think he or she always felt this way? -
I think he always felt this way. I think there might have been times where he kept on thinking about his failure instead of moving on, but it's generally a part of his personality to move on from failure and personally improve from it.
